THE FOUNDER
Built from twenty years of applied engineering experience.
Copper Hive was founded by James Carter, an engineer with more than twenty years’ experience across manufacturing, R&D, academia and emerging technologies.
That experience has shaped a practical understanding of where innovation often gets stuck. Projects can stall when technical assumptions go unchallenged, when designs become unnecessarily complex, or when the people who build, assemble and maintain systems are brought into the conversation too late.
Copper Hive grew from the belief that translating knowledge across disciplines — from researcher to designer to technician to decision-maker — is as important as the engineering itself.
